During the past twenty years in the profession, Ken has served as a Senior Foundation Executive of five nonprofit organizations. He has headed secondary and higher education institutions. He has also been heavily involved in healthcare fundraising.

Before joining the firm, he headed a significant position with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He worked out of the World Headquarters and was responsible for all philanthropy of the institutions of the Church.

The Adventists have the largest healthcare system in the world. Ken was responsible for the fundraising of their sixty hospitals and medical centers.

He also gave oversight to the fifteen colleges and universities of the Church, and their over-100 high schools.

He has expertise in all areas of fundraising including: estate planning, capital campaigns, major gifts, and annual giving.

Ken is a board member of the Milton Murray Foundation for Philanthropy, a member of Rotary, and is an active volunteer in his community and the church. He is a frequent writer and speaker on fundraising, foundation leadership, board governance, and strategic planning.
