America's Top 25 Fundraising Experts
I was agonizing how I should handle this without appearing overly boastful or pompous.
Well . . . what the heck. I decided I would just let folks know.
Philanthropy Media just announced their list of, "America's Top 25 Fundraising Experts."
They . . . well, they ranked me number one. (Please forgive the shameless pride!)
Something else. They ranked Jay Frost, a member of our firm's team, as number nine.
A part of their announcement said: "As competition for the charitable dollar continues to heat up, nonprofits are asking some very fundamental questions about new ways to raise funds to support their missions. Our 2016 top 25 fundraising experts helped nonprofits get past, 'We've always done it this way, we've tried that before, and fundraising is difficult.' "

Webinar with Jerry Panas!
Learn lessons from a 40-year leader in fundraising
Jerry Panas, author of the bestselling fundraising book in history was featured on the Asking Matters website in a webinar as part of the Fundraising Masters series. He answered fundraising questions and discussed his new book, The Lost Manuscript.
"It was magnificent fun being on Brian Saber’s Asking Matters Webinar. I wish I had an opportunity to greet each of the participants personally. I promised I would send out the eight elements that are essential for the making of the case," Jerry says. "They almost certainly will not be distinct sections in the material. But don’t worry if they are. Some may overlap. That’s okay. Some may be repeated. Don’t worry. Some will be in a different order than what I gave you that follows. Don’t fuss."
It’s okay. Just start writing. And make certain you cover each one. Here’s the order I think of when I start writing.

NEW BOOK! The Lost Manuscript
Manuscript by Si Seymour, with Observations & Comments by Jerold Panas
Binder, 153 pages, $59.00.
Jerry Panas discovered this tome of knowledge from one of the great fundraisers of our field, Si Seymour.
Back in the day, Si gave Jerry a book he thought Jery might be interested in reading. He read it and reread it, and kept it for safekeeping. That was the problem. Over the years it got lost in the shuffle of several family moves.
Seymour’s notebook ended up in one of the moving boxes that was put in storage. Recently, going through an old box from the first move Jerry found the treasure, still in its original three-ring binder.
Here are a dozen reasons to own a copy of The Lost Manuscript.
